How To use Android smartphone as keyboard and mouse for laptop/PC/Computer

                          

Android Smartphones are now a days becoming a necessity for current generations. You use android phone to maintain your online and physical presence with it, as long as you have a right android applications to get you connected through it. 

Using your Smartphone to control your computer will be a great way to interact with the programs. The Smartphone which you are having in your hand can be used as a joystick, webcamera, trackpad, keyboard, mouse, or can be used as a media player as well. This usage had been made possible with the help of several android applications which are thrown out over there in the playstore which acts as an interface in helping your android phone to work as keyboard and mouse.

Now we had come up with an android application which will make your android smartphone turn into the controller of your pc/laptop .i.e., to work as keyboard and mouse.

This application had been made possible with the help of an android app named Andromouse.

what is Andromouse ?

AndroMouse will help you to convert your Android phone into a wireless keyboard, mouse, filebrowser, media remote and much more. Communication has to be made with your computer using either Bluetooth or Wifi. The smartphone when connected with Wifi can be called as wireless keyboard and mouse and the smartphone when connected with Bluetooth as wireless network can be called as Bluetooth keyboard and mouse. Andromouse is having many mouse features including Click, rightclick, doubleclick, drag, and scroll etc. and also having number of keyboard features like alphanumeric keys, f1-f12 keys, up-down arrows and so on. You can also use Android touchkeypad as a wireless keyboard as well.

You will experiencing some problems while giving some powerpoint presentations where some other person will be changing the slides and you will face wrong change of slides. How to download AndroMouse ?

You can download the AndroMouse software into your Android Smartphone from here.

Or

You can visit the Android Playstore from your smartphone and download the AndroMouse application.

AndroMouse Desktop Server:

You can download the AndroMouse Desktop server from here.

Steps to Install AndroMouse:

First you need to download the AndroMouse Desktop server and install on your PC inorder to use this application.

Note: You should have Java installed in your computer to run AndroMouse Desktop Server. If you have not installed java, please download and install it from here.

Note: If you want to connect using wifi connection, then you should connect your phone and your computer/laptop to the same wifi hotspot.

Step-1:

As soon as you download the Desktop server, you need to extract the downloaded item using Winrar. After you have extracted the file, you will have a folder with the following contents.

Step-2:

Now double Click on AndroMouse Desktop application from the folder which is shown above and then the application will get opened which would be looking just like below.

                        

Step-3:

Now just leave the software as it is opened and Now goto your Android Smartphone and open the AndroMouse application.                                 

Step-4:

Now select the option by which you want to connect your smartphone and when you selected Wifi will get a window like below.

To establish connection using Wifi:

You will have to click on the Detect Server and once you does, your phone will automatically detect the IP address of the computers which are connected to the same Wifi Hotspot.

And once the IP address id detected, you can press Connect and now you are conncted to your laptop using Wifi and now you can use smartphone as keyboard and mouse for your laptop.

To establish connection using Bluetooth:

Now if you want to connect through Bluetooth, select the Bluetooth option as soon as you open the Android application.

If your device is not listed, select Scan for devices option and you will get the list of devices and you can select your device and that's done. Now your smart phone is connected to your laptop using Bluetooth.
