Protecting our files and folders has become very essential now a days. There are many password protection softwares available in the market which help us to protect files and folders and that too in a removable media .i.e., USB flash drive.
So what is USB flash drive?
USB flash drive is a portable and convenient utility which is used to navigate through our files and folders which make it an essential storage media. Yet there may also a chance of getting our files misused if we lose our flash media. Hence the USB flash drive need to be password protected and secure usb flash drive.
Hence we came with a technique which makes our USB flash media into password protected usb drive. We are making the process possible by uisng the password protection software named kakasoft USB security.
Step-1:
First connect your USB flash drive into your computer. Then run the USB security 1.65 and once you done, you will get a tab just like below and you will get the list of all usb drives and you can select the drive which you want to pass protect and press install.
Step-2:
Now the software gets installed on your usb drive.
After that open the USB drive and will find "USBsecurity.exe". Now double click on it and you will get a popup where you are provided a space to enter the password. Now enter the password and press Protect.
That's it, now you have your USB drive password protected.
